Real-time retail consumption tracker for January 10-16, 2022

Spending on products and services in Russia added 19.1% y-o-y on January 10–16, 2022.

This acceleration is due to the calendar factor only: January 10 was a day off in 2021, while in 2022 it was a working day, which is the reason behind higher spending.

In the first two weeks of 2022, the metric added an average of 15.6% y-o-y, with the dynamics somewhat equal to the figures seen in December (+16.6% y-o-y).
